Hello and thanks for stopping by. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you and to let you know we appreciate your support and friendship. We started The Primitive Porch in 2007 my mother and I had always wanted to own a primitive/country home decor store where you may have come in as a stranger, but when you left you felt like family. That all changed very quickly in 2008 when my mother passed away. It was sudden and earth shattering for me. At that point I had given up on our dreams and tried to put all the pieces of my life back togather. Within the last year or so I have made the decision that with my mothers help (thanks mom) I can do this, I can make both of our dreams come true and so with that I give you THE PRIMITIVE PORCH.

Primitive Fall Gathering

This is one of our Primitive Gatherings.

Here we have taken one of our old totes and filled it with all the prim fixens. It comes complete with 3 of our 6" dough bowls fall colors: Harvest Orange, Black and White they all have a walnut stain over them, a grungy very old quilt square, a harvest sprig, The tote and 3 black homespun rag balls, to top it all of we added a tall candle light with silicone flicker bulb.

Primitive Small Dough Bowl in Old Navy Blue and Grungy Tealight Pillar

Primitive small dough bowl (6") in Old Navy Blue is solid wood hand painted and distressed to prim perfection. The Grungy tealight pillar is dipped in Black Beeswax and rolled in our primitive blend spices 3" x 3", the tealight has gone through the same prim process as the pillar. To finish it off we have taken one of our grungy cheesecloth pieces and tied it around the pillar. (This is one of our Favorites!!!!!)

Primitive peg board with old square head nails

This is our Primitive peg board 2' L x 3" wide with two hangers on the back of them. They are prim yet very functional you can place them anywhere in your prim home, Bathroom for towels, kids room for book bags, mud room for keys and the list goes on and on.
